Write for Humanity aims to increase awareness of human rights, social justice and political accountability issues in the UK. We understand that democratic participation does not stop at the ballot box and provide information and resources which aim to make it easier for individuals to get their voices heard.

Our People

Tomos Owen

Tomos graduated with an honours degree in law from Cardiff University. He has since worked with various organisations focussed on protecting the right to a fair trial, procedural justice and broader human rights. He later returned to Cardiff University and graduated with an LLM in Human Rights Law. He has a keen interest in human rights, refugee law and civil liberties. 

Robert Wilcox

Robert graduated with an honours degree in law from the University of Lancaster. Whilst an undergraduate, he undertook pro bono casework on behalf of prisoners whom maintain their innocence but have exhausted their appeal rights. He then went on to study the Bar Professional Training Course at Cardiff University, following which he was Called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn. He later graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an LLM in International Business Law. He has a keen interest in legal & political theory, human rights and international development.
